Born in the early hours of Halloween, it was destined that Taylor Rose would spend the rest of her days completely engulfed in things that go bump in the night. As a young child living in the small coastal town of Jensen Beach, Taylor had trouble bonding with her peers, so she sought friendships with her Goosebumps collection and started writing chilling tales of her own that later earned her a writing trophy.

In her teen years, Taylor discovered the art of poetry, which greatly helped her through monstrous emotional waves of puberty and the early onset of mental illness. For an English assignment, she wrote a short poem titled “What is Pink?" in which she randomly submitted to an online poetry contest and won her first publication in the book Great Poems of the Western World in 2006.

While attending Jensen Beach High School, Taylor was determined to explore her writing talents by submitting a piece for the school's newspaper and successfully making the front page. All of these small writing projects, and support from her English and American Government teachers, boosted Taylor's confidence enough to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing at Full Sail University (2016).

Most of her inspiration stems from playing, and studying, horror survival games, such as the Silent Hill series. You may also find many references to Twin Peaks, Goosebumps, and cult classic horror films in her work. At the present time, Taylor is working on her own graphic novel concept, "Anoka," that follows a young girl's journey through her night terrors after being illegally lobotomized for mental illness. She also contributes occasionally to an Intersectional Feminist "zine," advocating for women's and LGBTQ rights.
